Wachsmuth, Ernst Wilhelm Gottlieb

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

　　a German historian, was born Dec. 28, 1784, at Hildesheim. In 1825 he was appointed professor of history at Leipsic, and died Jan. 23, 1866. He wrote, Hellenische Alter. thumskunde (2nd ed.
