Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

　　a Bavarian sculptor, lived in the latter half of the 17th century. He executed several works for the churches and convents of his native country. Chief among them we notice, Christ on the Cross, with his Mother: — The Virgin with the Infant Jesus: — and a Madonna, designed for the Church of the Hospital of Munich, which sealed the reputation of this artist.
